our great grandmother rolling meatballs for Wedding Soup

Three generations ago our great grandparents, came to America from Bagnoli del Trigno, Italy.  They "settled" in Youngstown, Ohio in 1917 and that is where our grandmother was born.  She was the ninth of eleven children.  We grew up living with our grandmother and her traditions.  "Handmades", "Wedding Soup" and "Escarole" were common words in our home.  My grandmother's 3 sisters were also a very important part of our childhood; it was almost like having four grandmothers that were constantly trying to feed you! 

One of our fondest memories growing up was, “Sunday Dinner” … It was not just a meal but an event.  Everyone would gather every Sunday as if we hadn’t seen each other in years. We would help our Grandmother and her 3 Sisters roll the meatballs for the Wedding Soup and make enough pasta to feed an army.  Helping prepare this feast is how we developed the passion for food, as well as family.

 3 Sisters Casual Catering Co. was founded out of love for cooking and our family.  Still holding true to the traditions and values that have been passed down to us, we believe in only using the freshest ingredients in every meal that we prepare.  We are a family owned and operated company that takes pride in delivering you only the best!
